Egypt’s minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry, confirmed that Egypt is a country of law-and-order and that the judicial power in Egypt practices full autonomy in its decisions and verdicts. This came during the minister’s interviews with the international media and press while visiting the USA. The minister also explained an overview of the judicial system in Egypt and its appealing system which guarantees justice and fair trials to everyone in Egypt. It should be noted that the Egyptian judicial system is one of the most established in the world and is commonly adopted by other countries around the world (for example, by some developing African nations who are establishing new democratic systems).

The minister of Egypt for foreign affairs also reminded the whole world that Egypt saw the biggest ever fully-fledged revolution by the people of Egypt on the 30th of June 2013, which witnessed the call for democracy and freedom by more than 30 million Egyptians. The  Egyptian army didn’t intervene in this revolution, but only guaranteed security and safety for all demonstrators who took the streets in a call against the fascist and theocratic dictatorship of the so-called “muslim” brotherhood. The move by the army to depose the political regime back at that time only came as a response to the calls of the Egyptians who called to remove the fascist regime which was ruling Egypt back at that time. This move by the army only came within its constitutional responsibility of protecting democracy and the national constitution of Egypt.
