⚽🌍🏆🇪🇬 Egyptian football star playing for Liverpool F.C., Mo Salah, clinched the CAF African Football Player of the Year award for 2018, making him the first ever Egyptian professional footballer to be crowned with this award twice in a row. The award was well deserved as Salah was the top scorer of the English premier league for the previous season, he helped Egypt reach the FIFA World Cup 2018 and scored the team’s only 2 goals in the tournament, in addition to continuing a superb season with Liverpool F.C. in its current edition. Here’s a nice reportage video below showing Salah during the press conference following the CAF awards event and showing Salah dancing some African dance with Sadio Mane after the awards ceremony! 😍👍
🏅 The Best African Player of the Year award this year was shortlisted between: Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Liverpool F.C), Sadio Mane (Senegal/Liverpool F.C.) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon/Arsenal). The footage from the moment of announcing the award can be seen in the video below.
💓🎖️ Let’s not forget all the humanitarian and compassionate character traits of Mohamed Salah, for instance when he insisted on personally meeting one of his special-needs fans who was crying in the stadium after hearing that Salah scored the winning goal for Liverpool F.C. in a match from the European Champions League. Mo decided to gift this fan his personal shirt from the club as seen in the following video. 💖
