๐ท๐ธ๐ช๐ฌ๐ย The Egyptian people and the people of Serbia have a long-lasting friendship which dates back to more than 110 years ago, since the kingdom of Yugoslavia. Both nations enjoy a relationship of continuous cooperation and cultural exchanges. Lately, Serbia was celebrating this long-lasting friendship by hosting multiple activities in its capital, Belgrade, which coincides with the National Day of Egypt on the 23rd of July.ย ๐
Parliamentary Official Visit to Belgrade
๐๏ธย An official visit to Serbia by the Egyptian Parliamentary envoy included a number of Egyptian MPs. The visit was led by the Egyptian Parliament speaker Dr. Ali Abdelal. He was welcomed by the Serbian Parliament speaker. Both sides expressed that they enjoy very strong bilateral relationships among both friend nations, including common mutual interests, and continuous economical cooperation and trade. The Egyptian Parliamentary speaker gave a speech in front of the Serbian MPs, which was received very positively. The speech expressed the long-lasting cooperation between both friend nations in terms of culture, history, and economical interests.ย At the end of the visit, the Serbian president invited President ElSisi from Egypt to visit Belgrade soon.
๐ต๐คย As a celebration of this special visit, the Egyptian envoy was received by a very nice performance by the Serbian side, who performed the Egyptian national anthem in Arabic with great fluency and fine tunes (video presented below). Thank you Serbia!ย ๐๐
Egyptian Cinema Week in Belgrade
๐ฝ๏ธ๐๏ธย Serbian capital, Belgrade, organised an Egyptian cinema week to show some famous Egyptian films to the Serbian public. The week was met with great enthusiasm and was very popular among the Serbian audience, especially that the films were translated to the Serbian language. The event was organised in cooperation with the Yugoslav Kinoteca film museum and the Arabic cultural centre in Serbia.

๐๏ธย The Serbian National museum showcased some Egyptian ancient artifacts to present the Egyptian ancient culture to the Serbian citizens.
๐๐ย The Egyptian Parliament also showcased some historic Egyptian documents which inked the relationship between Egypt and Serbia.
Holy Family Religious Route in Egypt

โชย The Egyptian ambassador to Serbia met with the Patriarch of the Church of Serbia to coordinate the reviving of the Holy Family’s route in Egypt and the planned tourism by Serbians to visit the main sights in Egypt.ย ๐
