
โฝ๐๏ธ๐ช๐ธ๐ช๐ฌย The football team of Al-Ahly sporting club (headquartered in Egypt’s capital, Cairo) has sent a message of peace to the world during a friendly match with Atletico Madrid at Borg El-Arab football stadium in Alexandria, Egypt. The match has seen the participation of multiple current and former football stars from the African Red Giant (or the “Club of the Century” as commonly known in Africa after winning this title for its fabulous performance during the 20th century). The match has seen a very good warm spirit between the participants and football fans who all showed solidarity against “global terrorism” and who also expressed their message of peace to the world under the slogan “together for peace … peace against terrorism”.ย ๐๏ธ๐
๐๏ธAtletico Madrid, among the top football teams playing in the Spanish “La Liga”, participated in the match with all their top-class football stars. The match has seen a lead to Al-Ahly with two goals to nil, but Atletico had a strong comeback in the 2nd half, where Gameiro scored a hat-trick to bring Atletico Madrid to a 3-2 win with a good performance. In the end, everybody from Al-Ahly and Atletico Madrid cheered the football fans and stood strong together to send a strong message of solidarity against all kinds of terrorism around the world.ย ๐
๐๏ธ๐๐ฉย This historic match came along after the historic victory of El-Khatib who became president of the Egyptian legendary club Al-Ahly. The legendary Egyptian football player, among the top players ever from the African continent, Mahmoud El-Khatib (also commonly known among his fans as “Bibo”) became the new president of the club after he won the club’s general elections by the end of 2017. El-Khattib is famous for being among the most beloved sportsmen in Egypt, the African continent, and the Middle East. He is famous for being a very loyal man for his lifelong career club, Al-Ahly SC, and his big heart for charity, good sportsmanship and world peace. El-Khatib helped Al-Ahly win many local and international trophies during his football career.
