๐ช๐ฌ๐ ๐ย Egypt has seen major success across all world competitions of Squash in 2017. This was seen when the Egyptian teams won the WSF world team championships for men and women, which were held in Marseille (France), in addition to sitting on top of the biggest world competition of the sport, the PSA World Open Squash Championships for men and for women too! ๐
๐ฅย The Pharaohs secured the gold medals for the teams world competition in France this year, winning both competitions for the men’s and women’s teams. In addition, the Pharaohs made history where both the finals of the PSA world Squash championships this year for men and women were purely between Egyptian athletes! The men’s PSA final was between the Egyptian El-Shorbagy brothers (from Alexandria) Mohamed & Marwan where Mohamed came out as the world’s winner. For the women’s PSA world open, the final was played in Manchester (England) between the Egyptian superstars Raneem El-Weleily and Nour El-Sherbini where Raneem (of Alexandria, Egypt) came out as the world winner.
๐ย Congratulations to the Pharaohs for their great performance this year … what a wonderful way to end the year! ย ๐
