๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ–๏ธ๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌย ย Cairo’s international film festival (CIFF), which takes place annually at Cairo’s Opera House in Egypt’s capital, was a major success in its 39th edition this year. It took place between November 21st-30th and has seen multiple film premiers from the international cinema and the Egyptian cinema as well. This major event is the most prominent global film festival by the Egyptian film-making industry and was organised this year by the honourary head, Egyptian actress Yousra. The international juries from across the globe, which decide on the film awards, were headed this year by Egyptian superstar Hussein Fahmy.

๐ŸŽž๏ธ๐ŸŽฆย The best films from around the world, the best producers, the best directors, and the best actors were awarded on the last day of the festival, which included the honourary awards to Hollywood megastars Nicholas Cage, Hilary Swank, and Adrien Brody. ๐ŸŽฌย The main award of best film is called the “Golden Pyramid Award” and is considered one of the most prestigious awards awarded by the CIFF, and was awarded this year to the film “The Intruder” by Leonardo Di Costanzo โ€“ (Italy, Switzerland, France). This edition of the CIFF film festival was dedicated to the legendary Egyptian actress and singer Shadia. She left our world last month, may her soul rest in peace, leaving for us a treasure of fantastic movies and amazing songs.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธย The global stars seized the opportunity of being in Cairo and visited the Giza Plateau to get some pictures with the pyramids of Egypt. ๐Ÿ™‚
