πŸ‡¨πŸ‡² πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬ ⚽ πŸ† Egypt reaches the final of the African Cup of Nations β€” Congrats to Cameroon for their victory

πŸŒΒ βš½Β πŸ† The African cup of nations 2017 came to an end with the return of the Pharaohs in the finals of the competition, and the victory of the African lions of Cameroon in winning the competition in its current edition this year. The final match saw a competitive performance between Egypt – Cameroon, when Egypt came ahead in the match with a goal from Arsenal’s El-Nenny at the 22nd minute of the match, giving the lead to the Pharaohs before the 2nd half. The 2nd half saw a fierce performance from Cameroon, scoring their equalizer 10 minutes in the 2nd half, and the winning goal in the last killer minutes of the match. The final result was 2-1 to Cameroon.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡²Β This was a well deserved win for the African lions and African brothers, the national football team of Cameroon … on behalf of the Egyptian people and the African nation, we would like to congratulate Cameroon for this well fought match and the African cup. We would also like to congratulate the Belgian manager of the African lions, Hugo Broos, for his successful leadership of this young team. πŸ™‚

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬Β This year’s edition of the competition has also seen the Pharaohs comeback in the competition since a 7 years disappearance, since the eruption of the Egyptian revolutions in 2011. The performance of the team and the return of the Egyptian people in backing their football team proves the strong return of the Pharaohs in football after the stability of the nation and after the democratic transitions. The Egyptian team was congratulated by the Egyptian president El-Sisi for their fierce and strong performance in the competition, and also for returning the Egyptian people back to their favourite sport; football (soccer). The overall performance of the Pharaohs with their Argentinian coach, Hector Cuper, proves a very strong appearance in the competition and a good team-spirit that should continue.

Egypt currently holds the most titles in the African cup with 7 titles, to be followed now by Cameroon, currently holding 5 titles after winning the 2017 edition. Cameroon will represent the African nations in the football confederation cup this year … we seize this opportunity to wish them all the best in their representation of Africa in the coming competition! πŸ™‚

It’s also worth mentioning that the Pharaohs’ captain and veteran goalkeeper, Egypt’s El-Hadary,Β  was considered one of the best goalkeepers in the competition with his strong performance alongside the strong Egyptian defence. El-haddary made a record in the competition, being the oldest player to participate in the history of international football at 44 years old. The Egyptian team was also awarded the best “fair play” title. πŸ‘

🎧 🎢 On this occasion, the Egyptian army dedicated the following song in the music video below to all football fans in Egypt, Africa and the world! πŸ‘ The video is in the Egyptian language.
