
The Belarusian president, Alexander Lukashenko, met with his Egyptian counterpart, president El-Sisi, after arriving to the capital of Egypt. Both presidents discussed the current political and economical affairs of interest to both nations, in addition to joint efforts in eradicating terrorism and radical ideologies. The Belarusian president confirmed the full support of Belarus for Egypt’s foreign policies and the agreement with Egypt’s international stances. In his talk to the press, the Belarusian president confirmed full political alignment with the Egyptian counterpart. The meeting of both presidents has also included signing of multiple memorandums for cooperation, security, economical development, and extended trade. This includes boosting of foreign investments by Belarusian and Egyptian businessmen.
