So, it is cold (maybe even snowy outside) and you need to wear those gloves while out there … great! Yet, wait a moment, there is this slight problem … you can’t use your mobile’s touch screen with the gloves on … there is simply no response using the touch screen with the gloves on!! The reason for this failure is that the touch screens are designed to function by detecting the small electrical current changes from your conductive fingers touching the sensors on the touch screen … if you are wearing those gloves on (which are normally made of non-conductive material) then the electrical impulses on the touch screen are not affected by your touches and the sensors on the screen can’t detect your fingers’ movements! πŸ˜‰

Okay, now what?! No worries … there is a solution for that … those are mobile touch-screen ready gloves. You can buy those special mobile touch screen ready gloves from your clothing retail store … you just need to check the label or ask the merchant if they support mobile touch screens (or simply try putting the gloves on, then using your mobile phone with it on). Those gloves are prepared in a special way so that they can conduct the small electrical currents off the screen like your fingertips and then pass this changes in electrical fields to the touch screen as usual. You can also find some ways online (like at this link) to create your own touch-screen capable gloves from your normal daily gloves (although, we didn’t try this and we do not necessarily recommend doing this!) … just be careful about the procedures and not ruining the actual gloves … alternative is to buy a properly prepared one for that! πŸ˜€

Happy winter season everybody and happy new year! πŸ™‚
