⚽🏆🎉🥇🇪🇬 Egypt’s capital hosted the African football cup of nations for the under-23 youth (AFCON U-23 2019) which was a grand event, ending with the trophy awarded to the home side, the Egyptian pharaohs, after they won 2-1 against Cote d’Ivoire in extra time! After this victory, the Egyptian team qualified to the Olympics in Tokyo 2020 as one of the top 3 African teams. The Egyptian fans were really excited about this victory and huge celebrations took place at the International stadium of Cairo. The Egyptian team fiercely fought till the end to make the Egyptian fans happy. During the whole event, the stadium was packed by supporters of the Egyptian team, in addition to many fans for the African champions. The African fans were also very satisfied in Egypt with the event’s organisation, the amazing opening / closing ceremonies and fireworks, in addition to the general spirit and ambiance during the tournament.
