๐ฐ๐ผย ๐ช๐ฌย ๐๏ธ President El-Sisi flew today to Kuwait for a 2-day trip to meet his close-friend, the Amir of Kuwait, H.H. Sabah Al-Sabah, in order to discuss current matters of interest for both friend nations. The trip comes in light of the strong ties and continuous collaboration between both important nations in the region. Discussions also included efforts to counter terrorism and threats to security to any partner nation in the region and the Gulf states. President El-Sisi expressed the continuous commitment of Egypt for securing the Gulf states from any possible threats that might arise. He also expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Egyptian people for the continuous support from the state of Kuwait for the Egyptian nation. H.H. Amir Al-Sabah also expressed gratitude for the support of the Egyptian nation for Kuwait throughout the history of the nation.ย Both leaders also discussed peace-efforts for the Arab nations and the Middle East. President El-Sisi and his accompanying officials were received by a very warm welcome from the Kuwaiti government. The Kuwaiti media and the Kuwaiti people on social media have also showed strong interest in this visit and have sent some very warm welcome greetings to the Egyptian president and the Egyptian government.
๐ค The 2-day trip plan includes meetings with the Kuwaiti government and prime minister, the head of the national assembly of Kuwait and some of its members, and Kuwaiti businessmen and politicians. Prominent Kuwaiti journalist (editor-in-chief of the popular Al-Seyassah Kuwaiti newspaper), Ahmad Al-Jaralah, sent his warm greetings to president El-Sisi in Kuwait and thanked him for the strong support of all Gulf states. He also expressed his gratitude for El-Sisi being a strong opponent to radicalised groups in the region, and has also praised the current democratic process taking place in Egypt which resulted in president El-Sisi being voted in office.
