π€πΌΒ π The Egyptian president, El-Sisi, visited Nairobi to meet his Kenyan counterpart, presidentΒ Uhuru Kenyatta, in order to boost bi-lateral cooperation and ties with the friend nation, Kenya. Both leaders discussed enhancing economical trade and reforms to boost development for both nations. President El-Sisi also stressed on Egypt’s full support for Kenya in countering all kinds of possible terrorism in the East African region, in order to establish peace and stability in the region. In addition, Egypt exerts all efforts to support Kenya in the areas of health, agriculture and irrigation. El-Sisi also expressed the Egyptian will to support Kenya in becoming a leading African economy within the COMESA African trade union. Kenya and Egypt have strong established relationships since the independence of the Kenyan state, with multiple ongoing projects to enhance cooperation within Africa.
