The Egyptian president El-Sisi visited today the beautiful monumental city of Port Said, Egypt’s gem on the Mediterranean sea at the tip of the famous Suez Canal. The city is famous for its beautiful design, its history of bravery in defending itself and Egyptian land (which is marked by its national anniversary celebrating the city’s victory in protecting Egypt from foreign assault during 1956), and the famous port with all its economical industries. The port is considered to be one of the biggest ports in Egypt, just after the port of Alexandria (also on the Mediterranean).
El-Sisi opened today multiple mega-projects in the city including thousands of huge fish farms, a new floating bridge over the Suez canal connecting the cities of Port Said to Port Fouad, and cultural projects and museums.
