The prime minister of Egypt announces today the government’s plans for establishing new financial and economic reforms to meet the needs of the less-privileged Egyptians. The set of reforms include improving the subsidies system in the country to better serve the citizens in actual need of support, and also introducing new smart-card systems for subsidy collection from outlets. The government is heading now towards subsidizing the actual citizens in need instead of subsidizing products like in the past. Such kind of reforms maintains a better system of governance which allows the delivery of subsidies to those who actually deserve it! Seems like economical reforms are going in the right direction!
