The summit was attend by the Egyptian president, El-Sisi and his counterparts from Cyprus (Anastasiades) and Greece (Tsipras). The goal of the continuous tripartite meetings is to establish a close bond between those nations which is capable of creating sustainable development and protecting peace in the Mediterranean region. All three nations in the tripartite share some common culture and very strong relations & bonds which date back to ancient times, thousands of years ago.

🌊 During their meeting, the three leaders discussed matters of mutual interest and benefit which include stronger economical & financial cooperation, more shared investments by the three nations in the Mediterranean region and aligned political positions about global matters. Discussions also included joint counter-terrorism efforts and preserving the ecosystem in the Mediterranean.

πŸŽ™οΈΒ President El-Sisi of Egypt also gave a speech to the Cypriot parliament about the strong bilateral relations between both friend-nations, and later he was awarded the top national Cypriot medal for his achievements in protecting peace and development in the Mediterranean.
